ATMP is usually used together with other organophosphoric acid, polycarboxylic acid and salt to built all organic alkaline water treatment agent. ATMP can be used in many different circulating cool water system. The recommended dosage is 5-20mg/L. As corrosion inhibitor, The recommended dosage is 20-80mg/L.
There are two specifications of ATMP , solid and liquid. Owing to the C-P bond in its molecular, ATMP is chemical stable, hydrolyzing stable and thermostable. It shows good synergic effect and solving threshold effect while being compounded with zinc, copolymer. This product yet has excellent anticorroding performance even used with large dosage. It's nontoxic and nuisance free. Moreover, it has a good dispersing performance against scale of calcium carbonate.
ATMP is mainly used in circulating cooling water of thermal power plants, oil refineries, and oilfield reinjection water systems to reduce corrosion and scaling of metal equipment or pipelines. In addition, it is also used as a metal ion chelating agent in textile printing and dyeing and other industries, as well as a metal surface treatment agent. Due to its good water solubility and biocompatibility, ATMP can also be used as antimicrobial agent, synthetic raw material of anti-cancer drugs, corrosion inhibitor and scale inhibitor in oil field chemicals.
