Trimercaptotriazine Sodium Salt（TMT-15）CAS 17766-26-6 is an effective, environmentally friendly, and non-toxic heavy metal remover for various wastewater. It is an important heavy metal ion treatment agent that can remove most monovalent and divalent heavy metal ions in aqueous solutions, forming stable compounds with ions such as Fe2/Fe3, Ni2, Pb2, Cu2, Ag, Zn2, Cd2, Hg2, Ti, and Cr3, which precipitate out to achieve the purpose of heavy metal ion removal.
1. High safety. Non-toxic, environmentally friendly, odorless, and does not produce toxic substances during metal precipitation, making it safe to use
2. Excellent removal effect. TMT15 is effective over a wide pH range, suitable for treating both acidic and alkaline wastewater, regardless of the concentration of heavy metal ions in the wastewater. It can simultaneously remove multiple metal ions when coexisting; when heavy metal ions exist in the form of complex salts (EDTA, tetraamines, etc.), and cannot be completely removed by the hydroxide precipitation method, TMT15 can effectively remove them. It is unaffected by coexisting salts in the wastewater during heavy metal precipitation.
3. Good flocculation effect. The metal precipitates are coarse flocs, settling quickly, and facilitating solid-liquid separation.
4. Stable precipitates. The metal precipitates are very stable and do not release heavy metals even at high temperatures of 200-250℃. The metal precipitates do not leach out in dilute acid solutions, posing no secondary pollution, and are safe for land disposal.
5. Simple treatment method, easy sludge dewatering.
TMT 15 is a sulfur-containing compound that stably combines with heavy metal ions through sulfur groups and undergoes chemical reactions, forming stable organic metal compounds that are not easily soluble. They form solid precipitates in aqueous solutions and are subsequently separated and removed. This is a stoichiometric reaction.
