PPG-20 Methyl Glucose Ether is a non-ionic surfactant synthesised from natural glucose. It has good water solubility, mildness and biocompatibility, and is widely used in cosmetics, personal care products and industrial fields. The following are its main application directions:
*Humectants and emollients
-Due to the polyhydroxyl group in its molecular structure, PPG-20 Methyl Glucose Ether can effectively adsorb and lock the water, enhance the moisturising performance of the product, and give the skin a smooth touch.
-It can be used in skin creams, lotions, serums, etc. to enhance the moisturisation and comfort of the products.
*Emulsifier and Solubiliser
-Emulsify in oil-water system, promote the uniform mixing of oil and water phases to form stable emulsions.
-Can solubilise fat-soluble substances such as fragrances and active ingredients to improve product stability and effectiveness.
*Mild detergent
-Acts as a secondary surfactant to reduce the irritation of the main surfactant, suitable for cleansing products such as facial cleanser, shower gel, etc., and does not tighten the skin after washing.
*Fragrance fixative
-Can slow down the evaporation rate of the fragrance, enhance the product's fragrance retention effect, commonly used in perfumes, eau de toilette and other products.
*Softener & Shine
-Added in shampoo and conditioner, it can repair damaged hair, reduce frizz, make hair smooth and easy to comb, and give natural luster.
