1,3,5-trioxane is a white crystalline polymer of formaldehyde, which is often used as a drying agent for pith drying. When it meets water, it releases formaldehyde, so it is sealed on the sterile necrotic root pulp section, which can make the root pulp dry. High concentration of 1,3,5-trioxane can make the tissue necrosis, so it can also be used as pulp inactivation agent, its inactivation time needs 10 ~ 14 d. It can be used as fungicide, used for barley and wild oats seed treatment agent, and used for seedling and transplanting seedlings when the fungicide.
