It is a free-flowing white granular powder that is easily soluble in water and consists of three components: potassium persulfate KHSO5, potassium bisulfate KHSO4 and potassium sulfate K2SO4. Potassium bisulfite is a very effective oxidant and disinfectant due to its high acidification properties.
