1. Polyurethane industry: DMAPA is one of the important raw materials for the preparation of polyurethane (PU) materials, especially in the preparation of waterborne polyurethane dispersions (WPU), it is often used as a hydrophilic chain extender. Through the introduction of DMAPA, polyurethane materials can be endowed with good hydrophilicity and self-emulsifying properties, which enable polyurethane products to be stably dispersed in the aqueous phase, and broaden the scope of polyurethane applications, such as coatings, adhesives, leather treatments and other fields.
2. Epoxy resin curing agent: DMAPA is also used to modify epoxy resin by reacting to form epoxy amine curing agent.
