Compared with traditional clarifying agents such as antimony trioxide (Sb₂O₃), sodium pyroantimonate has obvious advantages: it does not require pre-oxidation treatment, has higher clarification efficiency, lower tinting effect, and stable performance that will not affect the whiteness of PV glass. Meanwhile, the adoption of sodium pyroantimonate also brings significant economic and environmental benefits to manufacturers.


Its dosage is only 0.2–0.4% of the total batch weight, accounting for less than 0.3% of the total cost of solar modules, which can reduce production costs by about 20% compared with traditional alternatives. In addition, its wide clarification temperature range ensures thorough purification of molten glass, reducing product defect rates and improving production yields.
